The Community

This institution doesn’t work without the people it serves. That’s you.

Shawn Morant’s community-owned, asset-backed institution exists to keep economic power rooted where it belongs: with the people who live, work, and build here. This page is where the community shapes the agenda, sees what’s happening, and decides what comes next.

Live Research

What Does the Community Want?

Before we build anything, we ask. The survey below is live — your answers directly shape what gets prioritised, what gets built, and when. This is not a marketing exercise. It’s genuine listening about how to protect purchasing power, keep wealth local, and design a community-owned, asset-backed institution that actually works for you.

Results are reviewed regularly and shared with the community.

Early Insights

What We’ve Heard So Far

Cost of living is the #1 concern

Energy bills, food, housing. People want relief, not lectures. The institution’s job is to preserve purchasing power and direct economic surpluses back into everyday stability and local abundance.

Trust is the barrier

People want to participate but don’t trust institutions. Transparency is everything: open decision-making, clear reporting on where funds go, and visible proof that the community owns the assets and the upside.

People want ownership, not charity

A stake in something real. Not handouts. Not dependency. The goal is a community-owned, asset-backed structure where local people share in the decisions, the protection of wealth, and the benefits of productive local investment.

Based on early conversations — not a statistically significant sample yet.

How to Get Involved

Join as a Founding Member

Help shape what gets built from day one. Founding Members help decide how assets are chosen, how surpluses are directed into local projects, and how the institution protects community purchasing power over the long term.

Take the Survey

Five minutes, real impact. Your answers guide which community assets are prioritised, what protections matter most, and how this community-owned, asset-backed model can serve people across incomes and backgrounds.

Share the Vision

Tell a neighbour, a friend, or a coworker that something different is being built here — a financial institution where the community owns the assets, shares the upside, and directs surpluses into productive local abundance.

This only works if people show up.

A community-owned, asset-backed institution is only as strong as the people behind it. If you want a future where economic decisions happen with you — not to you — this is your invitation to take a stake.
